Coalition Strategies: Building Partnerships to Advance Policy

The state and non-profit partners who are working together to advance improvement in infant toddler policy have rich histories of advancing public policy reforms under difficult conditions. Working in partnership is an everyday part of the work. In this session, we will look at issues of partnerships and coalitions to support complex public policy work, using an academic research lens. This lens is intended to assist all participants in continuing to mine their own rich experiences and to advance this critical aspect of their work. Participants will engage in groups to apply lessons from research and practice to case simulation and challenges from their own work. Presenter: Juliet Musso, Associate Professor, USC Sol Price School of Public Policy
