These resources and tools ensure that strong leadership is established early in the collaboration and sufficiently nurtured. These resources will support the development of collaborative leadership.

Tools:

  2. Assessing Leadership within the Leadership Council - This assessment tool covers key leadership roles and responsibilities that are important to an organization.
  3. Self Assessment: Leadership Trait Questionnaire – This self-rating tool emphasizes traits shared by strong leaders.
  4. Self-Assessment: Developing Coalition Members - This tool assesses the extent to which participants engage in practices and behaviors that are associated with leaders who actively develop those around them while allowing others opportunities to exercise power and influence.
  5. Intensive Technical Assistance Assessment Tool – This assessment tool is designed to determine the areas where a community needs technical assistance. The content of the tool also raises knowledge of systems development and may strengthen collaborative relationships.
