This session looked at what it will take for the child welfare workforce and the early childhood workforce to collaborate? What are the differences in priorities and orientations that challenge collaboration? What skills and training does the CW workforce need to better understand early childhood programs and the needs of young children? What skills and training does the early childhood workforce need to understand the pressures and priorities of the child welfare workforce? At what levels (service delivery, program management, policy) does collaboration need to occur?
