Early Learning – Child Welfare Navigator Pilot Program
This resource was shared during the second webinar in the Child Welfare and Early Childhood webinar series. The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) structured this pilot to test different approaches to operationally link the early learning and child welfare functions, with the explicit goal of preparing children for school success and preventing subsequent maltreatment.
