Mitigating the Effects of Trauma among Young Children of Immigrants and Refugees

This issue brief seeks to raise awareness of the need for trauma-informed services for young children of immigrants and refugees as well as for their families. In addition to providing a profile of this population and an overview of the effects that trauma, if unaddressed, can have on child development, the brief suggests potential strategies to improved and expand supports for these children.
